‘Bhonsle’ is directed by Devanshish Makhija and stars Manoj in the title character of a Mumbai cop who makes a special bond with a little girl.
The film was premiered at the 2018 Busan International Film Festival and since then has been screened at various film festivals. It also won the Best Screenplay and Best Director Award at the Asian Film Festival Barcelona.
Manoj was last seen in the Amazon Prime web series ‘The Family Man’ where he played an undercover agent.
He will be next seen in the Hollywood film ‘Dhaka’, directed by Sam Hargrave and also stars Chris Hemsworth, Randeep Hooda and Pankaj Tripathi.
