Nawazuddin Siddiqui

One of the most acclaimed actors of Bollywood Nawazuddin Siddiqui was seen in very serious roles in his last releases ‘Manto‘, ‘Petta‘ and ‘Thackeray‘. The actor will soon be seen in an out of his comfort zone genre, romantic drama. The film titled ‘Bole Chudiyan’ will portray Siddiqui as a romantic hero and also mark his brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui’s directorial debut.

About the female lead opposite Nawaz, a leading publication has claimed that Shraddha Kapoor has been approached for the role. The publication cited a source as saying that the actress, who is interested in exploring diversity in her roles and genres, has liked the script. However, the source also added that Shraddha has not said yes to the project yet, as she is busy with some other commitments.

Nawaz had earlier told the Bombay Times about the film, “It’s an exciting phase for me, as our cinema and the audience is evolving. I look forward to roles and characters that challenge me and I can dig deep into. ‘Bole Chudiyan’ is one such script, it is a passionate romantic drama.”

Shraddha Kapoor is currently with her upcoming dance film ‘Street dancer’ co-starring Varun Dhawan, being directed by Remo D’Souza.

Nawazuddin’s last ‘Thackeray’ was a biopic based on the life of Shiv Sena founder and the most influential and controversial leader of Maharashtra Bal Keshav Thackeray. The film still running in the theatres is doing decent business at the box office. He worked in another biopic ‘Manto’ based on the acclaimed Indian and Pakistani writer, Saadat Hasan Manto.

He will be next seen in ‘Photograph’ along with Sanya Malhotra.
