Shahid Kapoor, is an Indian actor who appears in Hindi films. Shahid started his acting career with a leading role in the romantic comedy “Ishq Vishk”, a sleeper hit for which he won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He followed it with roles in several commercial failures before starring in Sooraj Barjatya’s top-grossing family drama “Vivah”. Actor earned nominations for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for portraying a troubled businessman in Imtiaz Ali’s romantic comedy “Jab We Met” and twin brothers in Vishal Bhardwaj’s caper thriller “Kaminey”
On 7 July 2015, Actor Shahid Kapoor married to a delhi student Mira Rajput and the couple were blessed with a adorable baby girl, Misha Kapoor, on August 26 last year. Shahid’s little angel surfaced on the internet where she is seen wrapped in her mommy.

Currentlr, Shahid Kapoor is busy shooting for his next movie ‘Padmavati‘. ‘Padmavati’ is an upcoming Indian period drama film which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, jointly produced by Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The film features Deepika Padukone in the title role as Rani Padmini, alongside Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Aditi Rao Hydari. Where Shahid plays her on-screen husband and Ranveer Singh will be seen as Alauddin Khilji.
