Pooja Banerjee has entertained the audience with her comedy timings on screen. Now, she is all set to make a comeback to TV in a new role. She will soon be seen in the upcoming suspense thriller series Dev, which will be aired on Colors TV.
The actress is very excited to play the role in her upcoming show. About her role, Pooja said, “I will be seen essaying the role of Mehek in the show, who will be Dev’s wife (Ashish Chowdhry). Although she will be shown dead in the track she will be always connected to Dev in a unique manner which will be revealed as the story will unfold. It’s very rare that you get to play such roles on TV and it’s quite exciting that I have got to play a character like that. This character has a lot of shades and there is a lot of scopes to perform as an actor.”
On August 2017, Pooja is getting engaged to her beau Kunal Verma. Even she has taken a break from the Television. Talking about the same, Pooja said, “I had taken a break from TV because I didn’t want to do anything. I have done films too. The role of Parvati that I have played earlier is very close to my heart. When I was offered the role of Mehek, I felt that this is something that I want to do as an actor. I am little choosy about my work.”
When asked if she follows Kunal’s show “Dil Se Dil Tak”, she said, “Yes, I have been and I love his show. I think that the series has become more interesting after his entry.”
