Actor R. Madhavan will soon be seen in the next movie title “Fanney Khan‘” along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor. The movie which is directed by Atul Manjrekar and produced by Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra, KriArj Entertainment, and T-Series. According to the reports, the movie will arrive in cinemas in April next year. This will be the first time when three of the actors (Aishwarya Rai, Anil Kapoor, and R.Madhavan) are working together.
Earlier, there were reports that the makers are struggling to find the right hero opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. There was a choice between Madhavan and Rajkummar Rao but later the makers finally choose R. Madhavan for this role. Rakyesh said, “The discussions kept going on till the solution was finally cracked late on Wednesday afternoon – and the answer was Madhavan!”
However, Madhavan’s addition has made the star cast very exciting because all the three actors are a performer and have proven their mettle time and again. Sources close to the actor R.Madhavan says that “R Madhavan is quite excited to work with both the actors and he will have a very significant role to play in the film. However, more can be told only after Madhavan formally signs the film.”
Earlier, there were rumours that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was not happy when Madhavan was being considered for the movie, but later the makers have cleared all such rumours. Producer, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra said, “It is quite unfortunate that such false and baseless stories are created to grab attention. There is zero truth in this story, we are all a team and Fanney Khan is a dear project to the whole team.”
While producer Arjun Kapoor of Kriarj Entertainment said, “There are some stories doing the rounds about disagreement in casting for the film. We want to put the record straight denying any such so called competition or discord among the makers. The cast including Ms. Aishwarya and Mr. Anil Kapoor are deep into prep for their roles and as thorough professionals do not interfere in the process of casting for other roles. It’s a great story and we are all very excited to showcase it to the world.”
Talking about the movie ‘Fanney Khan’, which is said to be a musical comedy movie, which is an official remake of Dominique Deruddere’s Everybody’s Famous and the movie will be based on the father and daughter story. About the movie, Rakyesh said, “It’s a great story and we are all very excited to showcase it to the world.”
