Robot 2.0 has left the audience curious from the day it’s making was announced. After a long delay the release date has been finally announced. Director Shankar Shanmugham took to twitter to announce the release day, he wrote ““Hi everyone.. atlast the vfx companies promised the final delivery date of the vfx shots. The movie will release on nov 29th 2018.”
2.0 is a science fiction film written and directed by Shankar Shanmugham, and features Rajinikanth alongside Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson. The movie is shot in Tamil and Hindi and will be dubbed in 13 other languages. 2.0 is made with an estimated budget of ₹500 crore, which makes it most expensive Indian film ever made. This film is said to be the successor of the 2010 Tamil film Enthiran (Robot). Enthiran’s commercial success which featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made the makers think of creating a sequel. The film began its first scheduled shooting on 16 December 2016 and wrapped on 22 October 2017.
This film will Akshay Kumar’s debut Tamil movie. We cannot wait to see these two together on the silver screen for the first time.
