Being a star-kid, Sara Ali Khan has been making plenty of headlines recently. Initially, she was slated to make her debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Student Of The Year 2’, but according to reports, she has instead signed for Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kedarnath’. Her debut in ‘Kedarnath’ will be alongside Raabta actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Her dad Saif Ali Khan approves of her choice of cinema. He says, “Her choice is great and I am thrilled and excited about her first outing. She comes from a family of artists, so acting is something she has inherited. I am happy that Sara is doing something she is passionate about”.
There were previous assumptions that Saif is unhappy with his daughter entering into the film industry but he cleared it by saying,“I am still a little concerned as it’s an unsure profession. But I support her decision.” said Saif.
Saif trusts his daughter to make the right choices, given that she is “a bright girl”, but he does have a piece of advice. “I tell her to read the script properly. She is a smart kid and has many well-wishers around her, including her mother, me, and Karan Johar among others. She can come to us for advice.”
On his own work front, Saif’s upcoming film Chef, a remake of a Hollywood film of the same name, is set to release on the 6th October 2017. Although his last film Rangoon didn’t do too well, Chef is a promising project.
