Munna Bhai series has reached a cult status. One of the many reasons behind the immense popularity of the films was the chemistry between “Munna Bhai” played by Sanjay Dutt and his sidekick “Circuit” played by Arshad Warsi.

The presence of them together on the screen created magic and was instantly liked by the audience. The fans will be happy to know that the duo is coming together once again although not for the third installment of Munna Bhai but for a new project which is likely to go on floors in a few months.

“Sanju and I will start working on a film next year. It’s a crazy script, a project by Sajid-Farhad. The film is likely to go on floor by March-April next year. We’ll probably head to Budapest for the first schedule of the film,” Arshad Warsi told Bombay Times.

Talking about the story of the film, Arshad shared, “Sanju plays the role of a blind don. I am his eyes. The challenge is that nobody can know that he is blind, and I cannot tell anyone that he is blind. I am actually directing him throughout the film. It’s quite a fun script.”

Meanwhile on the work front, Sanjay Dutt is gearing up for his upcoming film Panipat where he plays the Afghan King Ahmad Shah Abdali. The film is based on the Third Battle of Panipat fought that took place on 14 January 1761 at Panipat between a northern expeditionary force of the Maratha Empire and invading forces of the King of Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah Abdali. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the film is slated to release on 6 December.

On the other hand, Arshad is all set for his upcoming film Pagalpanti  where he will be seen with Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Ileana D’Cruz and others. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film is slated to release on 22 November.
