Dua Lipa is one of the most talented, emerging pop stars who has made a dent in the industry with her distinctive voice and beauty. Her single, New Rules was one of the most popular songs of the decade, and propelled her to pop stardom.
Dua arrived in Mumbai today, as she’s scheduled to perform at the One Plus Music Festival, and the first person she met from Bollywood was the king himself, Shah Rukh Khan. The actor expressed his delight on Twitter and also wished the singer for her performance.
He tweeted, “Have decided to live by ‘New Rules’ and who better to learn them from but @DUALIPA herself!! What a charming and beautiful young lady….& her voice!! Wish her all my love for the concert tonight. Dua if you can, try the steps I taught u on stage.”
Dua Lipa is joining Katy Perry, who arrived earlier this week and has been meeting with famous Bollywood celebrities. However, this isn’t Dua’s first trip to India, because she vacationed in the country last year with her boyfriend, Issac Crew and visited Jaipur, Goa, Kerala, and other scenic states.
She expressed her excitement at her return with the Instagram post in which she wrote, “So excited to go back to India this week! I’ve never had the chance to perform in front of you and I’m excited to share the stage with sweet mutha KPez!!!! Yaaaaay.”
