Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan says that he wanted to be a part of the upcoming crime thriller movie ‘Ittefaq‘as an actor but he could not able to do so because of his busy schedule. However, Shah Rukh Khan is producing the movie. The movie features Sonakshi Sinha, Sidharth Malhotra, and Akshaye Khanna in the lead. The movie ‘Ittefaq is an adaptation is an adaptation of the Yash Chopra’s 1969 movie of the same name featuring Rajesh Khanna, Nanda, and Madan Puri in the lead.
On Monday, at the press conference, Shah Rukh revealed that he desperately wanted to be the part of the movie as an actor but he could not able to manage the time. He was busy shooting for the movies ‘Raees’ and ‘Fan’ at that time so it would be very physically exhausting for him if he would have done this movie as well. He says that he is very happy with the way director Abhay Chopra adapted the script, however, he made few changes in the script to make it relevant in today’s time and Shah Rukh Khan feels that he has done a great job. He just hopes that his upcoming movie which he has produced will do good and people will surely love the movie.
When Shah Rukh Khan was busy on his project than his role later was offered to an actor Akshaye Khanna and he did it. Moreover, Shah Rukh Khan expressed his excitement of collaborating with his friend and co-producer of the movie Karan Johar all over again after some of the iconic movies like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum’, ‘My Name Is Khan’, ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ and much more. They both (Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan are working together after a very long time now.
Shah Rukh says that there is some relationship in our life that does not need an explanation and he does not have to mention that how much he loves Karan Johar and how they are bonded. He says that this question arises whenever they do a movie together. Shah Rukh feels that as an actor or a director if they are doing a movie together then they should be happy to do it and if they feel that the script is good then they will both collaborate otherwise without fearing anything about their relationship they can even say no to each other.
Shah Rukh Khan says that he never had any problem with Karan Johar. He loves him unconditionally and he says that Karan is like a family to him and one day they both will grow old together may be at the age of 105 even then they both will be seen together promoting the movie in one of such platforms. However, he believes that there could be a possibility that they won’t be able to work together in a movie, but the love and the brotherhood will always be there between both of them. He says that if someday Karan would be in trouble then he would be the first one to stand with by him.
The movie ‘Ittefaq’ is all set to release on November 3.
