After the overwhelming success pf his last film Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor has started preparing for his next film which is remake of the South super hit Jersey. A picture of his prep look is doing the rounds on social media.
In the photograph, Shahid can be seen wearing cricket uniform and holding a bat on his shoulder. With all sweaty and intense look, Shahid looks perfectly suitable for the character.
Film trade analyst and critic Joginder Tuteja took to his social media account to share the picture of the actor and wrote, “After the tremendous success of #KabirSingh,

The Telugu film Jersey was released in April this year and turned out to be a critical and commercial success. The film starred Nani and debutant Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles while Harish Kalyan, Sanusha, Sathyaraj, Sampath Raj, and Viswant played pivotal roles.
The Hindi version of the film will star Shahid Kapoor in the lead role while Mrunal Thakur is reported to play the female lead after Rashmika Mandanna opted out of the project. The movie will be directed by Gowtham Tinnanauri, who also helmed the original movie. The film is being produced by Allu Aravind, Aman Gill, Dil Raju. The film is scheduled to release on August 28, 2020.
