Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) claim the IPL trophy after a decade.

The IPL was all set to witness a fantastic final at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.

Kolkata Knight Riders, after winning the first qualifier with ease, have already made it to the finals.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, after losing the first qualifier, played the second qualifier against RR.

In the second qualifier, the spinners of SRH performed outstandingly as they reached the finals.

Match Details 

Tata IPL 2024 was all set to see the finals between KKR and SRH.

SRH won the toss and elected to bat first.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) Innings 

Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head opened the innings for SRH.

Mitchell Starc opened the bowling for KKR, as from the first ball he started to swing the ball.

He was proving why he was brought for such a price.

In the last ball of the first over, he bowled Abhishek Sharma.

In the next over, Vaibhav Arora got the wicket of Travis.

Later in the fifth over, Strac took one more wicket of Rahul Tripathi pushing back SRH.

Harshit Rana and Andre Russell also didn’t stay behind, as they also started to take wickets.

One by one, every batsman was getting out in front of the KKR bowling attack.

SRH lost all their wickets for a total of just 113 runs.

They recorded the lowest IPL finals total in the history of the IPL.

Andre Russell took three wickets, and Mitchell Starc and Harshit Rana took two wickets each.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Innings 

Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Sunil Narine opened the innings for KKR.

Pat Cummins took the wicket of Sunil Narine in his first over.

Gurbaz and Venkatesh Iyer took forward the Innings from there.

They both were looking dangerous and were taking KKR towards an easy win.

Both of them were hitting great shots across the ground.

Shahbaz Ahmed, in between, took the wicket of Gurbaz, but it was too late to get back into the match.

Venkatesh Iyer completed his half-century as KKR won its third IPL Trophy.

Mitchell Starc was awarded Player of the Year, and Sunil Narine was named Player of the Series.

The orange cap for hitting the most runs was won by Virat Kohli.

And the Purple Cap was taking the most wickets won by Harshal Patel.
