The Indian actress Shraddha Kapoor says that challenges lie in improving her craft. Currently, Shraddha Kapoor is gearing up her upcoming movie ‘Haseena Parkar‘, which is directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The movie which is based on the life of Haseena (Dawood’s sister). The film features Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role, her real life brother Siddhanth Kapoor will be seen portraying the role of Dawood Ibrahim, and Ankur Bhatia will be playing the role of Haseena’s husband.
Moreover, she is looking forward to beginning the shoot for her upcoming movies like ‘Saaho’ and ‘Saina’. Shraddha says that the genre of a movie is not a real challenge she always tries to improve her work with the every project. Currently. she is busy promoting her upcoming movie titled “Haseena Parkar”.
Shraddha says that she can not choose between the love stories or intense movies because every movie has its own challenge and she feels that challenge for her is to do a better work and she can improve her craft.
She would be next seen in the biopic of Indian Badminton player Saina Nehwal and along with this, she would also be seen opposite Prabhas in the movie titled ‘Saaho’. However, she has not started the shooting for the movie ‘Saina’ yet, because she is busy preparing for the role and the shooting of the movie will begin after some time because there is a lot of pre-production of work is there that has to be done before.
As far as ‘Saaho’ is concerned this is her first multi-lingual film that will shoot in Hindi and Telugu. She recently spent two days in Hyderabad for the reading of ‘Saaho’ along with Prabhas and there she also met badminton player Saina Nehwal. She is very excited about her upcoming projects.
In her upcoming movie ‘Haseena Parkar’, she will be sharing the screen with her brother Siddhanth Kapoor for the very first time. About the same Shraddha says, “It’s surreal actually. I still don’t believe that we have done a film together. I feel when we get older, we will talk about memories of doing this film together. So when we will discuss this at that point of time, it will be a lot of fun.”
In the movie, Shraddha Kapoor will be seen playing the negative character, but she says that the character is not in the negative space. Her character in the movie has a lot of theories and guessing, but not many people know about Haseena’s life. Its a story of a woman who has gone through a lot in her life and she dealt with some challenging circumstances. Haseena has gone a lot of hardship and loss in her life. The movie will show Haseena’s life from 17 to 40 years old.
Talking about the movie ‘Haseena Parkar’, the movie will revolve around the life of Haseena as she was living a normal family life before her husband was gunned down by men from Arun Gawli’s gang. This incident prompted her to step up and be a part of the notorious ‘D-Company’ and eventually become the Godmother of Nagpada. The movie is based on a true story on the life and times of the sister of India’s Most Wanted Man Dawood Ibrahim. The film’s tagline is, “80 cases registered yet she appeared in the court only once”, and this power permeates the teaser too.
