Shraddha Kapoor had recently impressed all of us with her amazing performance in the movie Chhichhore. The movie was a critical success and Shraddha’s performance received wide praises. Actress is now coming with her dance-drama film Street Dancer, and the film already looks action house pack.
One thing very few people know about the movie is that Shraddha had almost said No to the film as she had already said ‘Yes’ to Saina Nehwal biopic. After Remo D’Souza approached her for this dance film, she said ‘No’ to the sports biopic and said yes to this film.
Shraddha recently opened up about it in an interview with Pinkvilla and said, “Street Dancer suddenly came to me and since Remo Sir gave me ABCD 2, it was between Saina and Street Dancer and Remo Sir is one of my guru so I couldn’t say no to him. I just couldn’t. It was a tough decision to make between the two”.
Shraddha had already trained hard for the sports film and had met the family members of Saina Nehwal as well. The film later went to Parineeti Chopra who has started shooting of the film.
