Bollywood actor Siddhant Chaturvedi is on fire. The actor, who won appreciation for his debut as MC Sher in Zoya Akhtar directorial Gully Boy earlier this year, has now bagged a film with A list actor Katrina Kaif. While the buzz was there that the two would star in an Excel Entertainment production but there was no word from either side.
The actor recently confirmed about his collaboration with Kaif during an interview with entertainment portal Miss Malini. “There is a horror-comedy with Katrina Kaif that will happen by the end of the year,” he said.
The previous reports also suggested that Ishaan Khatter, who was last seen in Shashank Khaitan directorial Dhadak, would also be a part of the project. But, Chaturvedi did not say anything about other cast members. He did not reveal any information about the production house or the film’s director either. If the untitled film is an Excel Entertainment production, it would be his second collaboration for a film with the company as his Gully Boy was also banked by the same company.
Siddhant Chaturvedi can be currently seen in Amazon Prime Video’s original series Inside Edge 2. He has recently been signed for a film under Yash Raj banner. He will be seen as Bunty in the sequel of the 2005 film Bunty Aur Babli where he would share the screen space with Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan and debutante Sharvari. He has also signed a Karan Johar production film which will star with Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday and will be directed by Shakun Batra.
