Sonakshi Sinha will once again back on the small screen to judge another musical reality show, ‘Om Shanti Om’, for Life OK along with Baba Ramdev singer Kanika Kapoor and singer-composer Shekhar Ravjiani.
They have already begun the shooting from Tuesday at a Powai studio. Ranveer Singh was the first celebrity on the show with Mouni Roy and Badshah as the guest performers.
Sources reveal, “It’s a youth-oriented show and the contestants will be singing bhajans and devotional songs set to contemporary tunes. Sonakshi is the perfect combination of the traditional and the modern. She also has a great connect with youngsters.”
Yesterday, Sonakshi Sinha posted a picture on her Instagram account along with a caption saying, “#backtothegrind and lovin it!! Shooting for something super special and first of its kind… will announce sooooon! #waitforit”

According to the latest reports, the show will focus much on the spirituality than the competition. While Ramdev will share insight and teachings with the contestants as well as the audience, Source further revealed that “He will be a part of the show for a few episodes.” Earlier Sonakshi has admitted that she loves to sing and had even released the single ‘Ishqholic’, back in 2015.
On the work front, Sonakshi Sinha will soon be seen in Abhay Chopra’s upcoming movie titled “Ittefaq” opposite Sidharth Malhotra and Akshaye Khanna. The movie was an official remake of 1969 film with the same name. She is also gearing up for Salman Khan’s Da-Bang tour with Jacqueline Fernandez, Sooraj Pancholi, Prabhdheva and Daisy Shah, among others.
