Food helps me in exploring cultures: Soni Singh!

An Indian television actress Soni Singh says that foods help her exploring cultures. Earlier when Soni was seen playing the lead in the show titled ‘Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann’. She appeared in many shows like ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’, ‘Sarojini – Ek Nayi Pehal’ and ‘Saraswatichandra’. Soni has even appeared in the reality show titled ‘Bigg Boss 8’, where she got eliminated after 5 weeks.

Small screen actress Soni Singh says that apart from satiating your hunger, food has many other health benefits also. Food helps you in keeping away from depression and physical ailments and moreover, it also helps in exploring new cultures. Food is one thing which allows every culture to express itself in the form of taste.

Soni says that being a big foodie is also means that you are a being a learner. It hardly matters that in which part of the world you are, nothing will taste exactly the same. Every dish has some unique flavours and that flavours make the dish amazing.

About the same, Soni says, “I’ve found that trying a new food allows you to learn about the traditions behind a dish, its historical significance, rituals, and even agricultural practices. If you love to travel or explore new cultures, being a foodie is key.”

Soni says that love to do experiment while cooking in the kitchen. However, she loves to eat more of Italian dishes along with salad and cheese. She says “I’m a cheese lover. But I also enjoy cooking Indian diet for my parents and also festive food during festivals.”
