In the wake of Shiv Sena MP, Sanjay Raut’s attack on Sonu Sood, the actor met chief minister, Uddhav Thackeray. The Sena MP, had earlier attacked Sonu Sood in his weekly column in ‘Saamna’ and accused the BJP government. According to Raut, the BJP is using Sood as a prop to help migrant workers stuck in Maharashtra and in process shed a poor light on the Shiv Sena government in Maharashtra.
Despite these allegations by the MP, the meeting between the actor and chief minister took place, with Aditya Thackeray tweeting :
This evening @SonuSood met up with @CMOMaharashtra Uddhav Thackeray ji along with Minister @AslamShaikh_MLA ji and me. Better Together, Stronger Together to assist as many people through as many people. Good to have met a good soul to work for the people together. pic.twitter.com/NrSPJnoTQ6
