Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu will soon be seen playing a self-defence instructor in her upcoming short film. The short movie will be directed and produced by Kapil Verma. However, the story of the movie will revolve around the two siblings and their relationship. Actor Vicky Arora will be seen playing Taapsee’s brother in the movie.
Director Kapil Verma says that he narrated the script to her when she was shooting on the beach of Mauritius. She liked the script of the movie and she asked that from when would he like to start. Taapsee has trained very hard for the film because she would be playing the role of a self-defence instructor. Moreover, she has gone through a lot of training sessions just to get the physical nuances of her character right.
Kapil says that he has written the script around two years back and he has seen her performances in the movie Pink and he has worked with her in the movie ‘Naam Shabana’, so he knew that Taapsee would be best to play the role in his short movie. However, the title of the movie has not been decided yet.
Taapsee rose the popularity from the movie ‘Pink’, where she played the role of Minal Arora and later she appeared in the movie ‘Naam Shabana’.Currently, she is gearing up for her upcoming Indian Hindi action-comedy movie title ‘Judwaa 2’. The movie which is directed by David Dhawan, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, and written by Sajid Farhad. The movie features Varun Dhawan in a double role as estranged twins opposite Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu. ‘Judwaa 2’ is a sequel to David Dhawan’s 1997 film Judwaa.
Talking about her upcoming movie ‘Judwaa 2’ which is a story of twins (Prem and Raja) they both are born in a businessman family but they are separated at birth when their father exposes their smuggling racket. In the movie, Varun Dhawan would be seen playing the double role of Prem and Raja. Where Raja can be seen in a rowdy avatar with a long hair and a charming smile. On the other hand, Prem is geeky and nerdy. In the movie, Varun can be seen doing romance with two hotties, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu.
‘Judwaa 2‘ is scheduled to release on 29 September 2017.
