Only a day had passed to ‘The Bold and The Beautiful’s’ shoot and now the show has stopped again. Reports from ‘Variety’, state that to enhance the testing capacity of Coronavirus, the makers stopped its production.
One of the sources close to the show gave a statement to ‘Variety’ regarding it. It read :
“We have paused very briefly to modify our testing protocol to better accommodate the large volume of testing needed. Safety remains our top priority as we continue to move forward with the production of the Bold and the Beautiful. B&B filmed with cast and crew today and it was a successful first day back at work.”
The Bold and The Beautiful had become the first scripted show to begin production after a long shut down.
The LA county and Los Angeles city, had given the nod to begin shooting with certain conditions. Safety measures such as compulsory masks and an on-set safety coordinator were put in place.
Production on the show will again start from June 23, now.
The Bold and The Beautiful is running since 1987. Renewed by CBS for two more seasons, in 2021-22, the show will be in its 35th year of running.
