The official trailer of one of the most anticipated film, Wonder Woman 1984, dropped today which has several amazing action and fight sequences featuring the title character, played by Gal Gadot.
Gadot is seen clad in a golden bodysuit in this film which is set during the Cold War of the 1980s as she takes on the two main villains, Cheetah and Maxwell Lord.
The two-and-a-half-minute trailer begins with Gadot in a conversation with Kristen Wiig (who plays Barbara Minerva/Cheetah).
It also shows the reunion between Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor played by Chris Pine, who was presumably dead in the previous film.
As the trailer progresses, it shows Gadot performing several action scenes, including the bullet dodging as she goes head on with Cheetah.
It is the ninth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) and fourth live-action film featuring a title character, following Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) where the character had first appeared, Wonder Woman (2017) and Justice League (2017).
A day before, the makers had released a short thirty second teaser of the film that featured Gadot.
Directed by Patty Jenkins, who also helmed the previous film, Wonder Woman 1984 is set to hit the theaters on 5 June, 2020.
