The episode begins as Kartik goes to meet Vedika at her hotel. Naira is worried because she wanted to go with Kartik, so she could explain to Vedika about their complicated relationship. Kartik reaches the hotel. Pallavi notices him entering the hotel lobby and is perplexed by his presence. Vedika is waiting for Kartik, when suddenly she’s attacked by a man in her room, who covers her face so that her screams won’t reach outside. Kartik is confused because he can’t find her in the hotel and believes she didn’t want to meet him. Vedika’s kidnapper tells her she shouldn’t have tried to get away from him. He also refers to himself as her lover.
Kartik goes downstairs and finds Naira. She came because she wanted to explain the whole story to Vedika. Kartik tells her Vedika isn’t in her room and when they ask at the reception they aren’t given any information because if confidentiality.
Kartik and Naira return home. But Pallavi comes to the Goenka house with the police. She has the phone recording of Vedika in which she’s screaming out Kartik’s name. She believes Kartik hurt her because he doesn’t love her. He’s biased toward Naira and wanted to get rid of Vedika. Kartik tries to explain to her that she’s misinterpreting the call but the police announce that he’s getting arrested.
Suddenly, Kairav enters the hall and demand if the police standing around is real. Kartik and Naira make up a story about neighbourhood robbery and assure him Kartik is just going to the police station to help them find the culprit. Kartik is taken by the police while Kairav wonders if his mother was lying to him or not.
