Worldfest, an internationally acclaimed festival known to bring the world on one stage is all set to take India by storm this winter. Wordlfest, an initiative by Ferriseheel was started in 2011 to promote the food, culture and lifestyle of the world on a single stage. The Worldfest, which usually runs for a few days not only lets the people experience the food, culture, arts and lifestyle of various countries, but it also makes sure that the people visiting the fest do interact with the participants from various countries to know them better.

Worldfest is a celebration of joy, life, color and music which aims to promote India as a tourist and safe destination across the globe. According to Ms. Shubhra Bhardwaj, the brain behind Worldfest, when any country or city hosts a festival like this, it is looked upon as tourist-friendly, safe destination which has a community outreach. These are all positive signs to the global travel community.

Worldfest 2014 is all set to take place at Lavasa, a planned city near Mumbai from December 17th to December 21st. The 5 day long fest will see participants from countries like Brazil, Egypt, Ethopia, Israel, Lithuania, Maldives, Nigeria, Poland, Slovenia, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
