If you are using an Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus handset then there is good news for all those who are facing issues on powering their handsets. Apple has set up a new free repair program.

Conditions that you must know before going for free repair program:

If you brought your iPhone 6s and 6s Plus handset in between October last year and August this year than only you can get the free service through Apple. The program will cover affected iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus devices for two years after the first retail sale of the unit.

Apple has set up a dedicated page on its website for the same. The support site notes that a number of Apple’s iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus devices may not power on due to a component failure. Apple is replacing batteries for free on these impacted devices. The issue is affecting devices manufactured between October 2018 to August 2019.
