Audio Technica has launched its one of the most popular ATH-M50x over-the-ear headphones in India. The ATH-M50x is one of the popular equipment in the audio market. The headphones have been available for quite some time now and have been appreciated by users and experts alike. It comes in both wired and Bluetooth variant. Audio Technica has launched the ATH-M50x Bluetooth in India with a price tag of ₹18,490. It will be available for grabs through the e-commerce website Amazon.
The new headphones are the wireless version of the ATH-M50x, which were launched globally in 2014. The wireless ATH-M50x BT was launched globally in October 2018 and now has been made available in India. Currently, the headphones are exclusively available on Amazon and come with a USB charging cable, a 3.9-foot stereo audio cable for wired use and a carrying pouch.
In terms of specifications, the Audio Technica ATH-M50x BT features 45mm dynamic drivers with a frequency response range of 15-28,000Hz. The headset comes with Bluetooth 5.0 s also compatible with the aptX codec for better audio data transmission over Bluetooth. According to the company, the battery on the product will last up to 40 hours on a single charge.
The headset can also be used with Audio Technica Connect app for Android and iOS, which lets users control various settings on the headphones. The original ATH-M50x is known for its neutral sonic signature and sound quality, it will be interesting to see if the company is able to keep that up with its wireless version.
