Tecno Spark 7 Pro has been launched in India on Tuesday. The smartphone is the latest addition to Spark 7 Series, which already had Tecno Spark 7 that was launched earlier. The latest offering from Tecno is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 processor and features a 90Hz fast refresh rate display. A triple-camera setup, along with a unique design, is offered at the rear.

Tecno Spark 7 Pro is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, paired with ARM Mali-G52 MP2 GPU. The processor is backed by up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB internal storage. The storage on the device can be further expanded via a microSD card up to 512GB. The smartphone runs on Android 11 out-of-the-box with HiOS 7.5 on top.
Coming to the display, the device features a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels and a 90Hz fast refresh rate. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9. a 268ppi pixel density, and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. It has very thin and equal bezels on the edges as well as at the chin, with a screen-to-body ratio of 89.5-percent. It also carries a punch-hole at the top left corner for the front display.
As for the cameras, the phone is equipped with a triple-camera setup at the rear with a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, a 2MP sensor for depth sensing, and an AI lens. The rear camera module is capable of video bokeh, time-lapse, 2K video recording, and Super Night Shot. Upfront, an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture is placed under the punch-hole. The front camera comes with a dual flash module and is capable of AI portraits.
The mobile phone packs a 5,000mAh Li-Polymer battery with 10W standard charging. The company claims that the battery can deliver 34 days of standby time on a single full charge. It ships with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometrics. Connectivity features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, a Micro-USB port for charging, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are on offer.
Tecno Spark 7 Pro Price
Tecno Spark 7 Pro is offered in three color options- Alps Blue, Magnet Black, and Spruce Green. It is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage option costs Rs. 10,999 in India. It will be up for grabs from May 28 and will be sold via Amazon.
Considering the price range, it will rival Xiaomi Redmi 9 Prime, which is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC and features a 6.53-inch IPS display, a 13MP quad-camera setup, and a 5,020mAh battery with fast charging, priced at Rs. 10,000 for the 4GB RA variant.
