After launching the 4G variant of Realme Narzo 30, Realme has globally announced Realme Narzo 30 5G. The latest offering from Realme is an addition to Realme Narzo 30 Series comprising- Narzo 30A, Narzo 30 4G, and Narzo 30 Pro 5G. The smartphone is powered by Dimensity 700 5G SoC and features a 90Hz fast refresh rate display.

Realme Narzo 30 5G Specifications

Realme Narzo 30 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset, coupled with ARM Mali-G57 MP2 GPU. The processor is backed by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage on the device can be further expanded via a microSD card up to 1TB through a dedicated slot. The smartphone runs on Android 11-based RealmeUI 2.0 custom OS.

Coming to the display, the device features a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a 90Hz fast refresh rate. The display has a touch sampling rate of 180Hz and a peak brightness of 600nits. It has very thin bezels on the edges and a slightly thicker bezel at the chin with a screen-to-body ratio of 90.5-percent. It also has a punch-hole at the top left corner for the front camera.

As for the cameras, the phone is equipped with a triple-camera setup at the rear with a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and two 2MP sensors with an f/2.4 lens for monochrome and macro shots. At the front, a 16MP sensor is placed under the punch-hole for selfies and video calls.

The mobile phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W Quick Charge fast charging technology. It ships with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging. It weighs 185 grams.

If we take a closer look at the specifications, Narzo 30 5G is nothing but a rebranded version of Realme 8 5G that was launched in India earlier.

Realme Narzo 30 5G Price

Realme Narzo 30 5G is offered in two color options- Racing Blue and Racing Black. It costs EUR 219 (Rs. 19,400) for the lone 4GB RAM + 128GB storage option in Europe.

Realme India Head Madhav Sheth has confirmed that Realme Narzo 30 5G variant will launch in India, however, it is expected to be a tweaked version considering the presence of Realme 8 5G in the Indian market. For further details, we have to wait for an official statement from Realme India.


Considering the price range, it will rival Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G, which is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U and features a 6.4-inch 120Hz IPS display, a 48MP triple-camera setup, and a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support, priced at Rs. 19,945 for the 8GB RAM model.
