A teaser based on Honor V40 series was spotted in October 2020 which showed that the brand is keen on manufacturing smartphones despite the problems being faced by its parent Huawei.

A leakster in China has revealed a few more details about this lineup and has stated that it will arrive in mid-December and Honor will also split the chipsets – a few units will get Dimensity 1000+ and the others will stay in the Kirin 9000 segment.

rumored specs also include 120Hz refresh rate, two front cameras behind the punch hole of a Full HD+ display and a 50MP main camera that has RYYB sensor. The series will also have 66W charging support over a wire and 40W in wireless mode and both the features would be the first for an Honor flagship.

Honor flagships have always borrowed a few solutions from the box of treats and P and Mate devices of Huawei. Honor always combines a large number of flagship-tier hardware with an attractive price and so people are looking forward for the V40 to get revealed next month followed by a global launch.
