Goa orders temporary closure of casinos due to spike in COVID-19 cases

While the entire Indian nation continues to struggle with the pandemic, the government of Goa has directed the temporary closure of casinos in the state.

The failure and inability of the nations worldwide to curb the spread of the virus had resulted in this forced measure.

The lockdown in Goa is set to continue at-least till May 3, 2021, as imposed by Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant.

Similarly, in Manila, the govt, has issued the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine guidelines to be followed until May 14, 2021, at the very least. The Entertainment City zone of casino resorts, Solaire Resort & Casino etc. and others as well are complying with the guidelines.

Vehicles entering from neighbouring states will not be permitted, while tourists will be required to remain in their hotels.
