Recently, American Nonsmokers’ Rights Foundation (ANR) has argued that smoke free casinos have not deterred customers but have become widely popular among the Americans.

ANR argued that smoke free casinos in America showed $9 billion revenue collections in Quarter 3, which accounts for 80% of the of the total gaming revenue recorded in Quarter 3 of 2019.

Smoke free casinos started as a measure to combat COVID and were considered to be a part of health safety measures. However, many organizations were apprehensive that smokefree casinos could decrease the revenues of casino operators.

Refuting all the claims and concerns, ANR has published data that reflects smokefree casinos in Arkansas, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio and South Dakota show growth compared to previous years, reported Gambling Insider.

Bronson Frick, director of advocacy for ANR, said, “Most importantly, casinos with 100% smokefree policies, such as in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, have kept nearly all of their employees COVID-free”, reported Gambling Insider.
