Epic Games is a big fan of introducing pop-culture into its famous Battle Royale title, Fornite. Just yesterday, I wrote an article on how Epic Games loves pop culture as leaks suggested that Fortnite is getting an ‘Area 51 themed skin‘ owing to the famous Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop Us All‘ meme. Epic Games was even working on an IT Chapter 2 crossover earlier this month, however, it never saw the light of the day. And now, new leaks suggest that a ‘FortniteXBatman‘ crossover is on the way, to honor the iconic superhero’s 80th anniversary.
In a series of recent leaks, a set of six images were leaked suggesting that ‘Fortnite’ will soon be collaborating with Batman for a special event. The leaks feature a cape, a Grapnel Gun, a Batarang, new gliders and a new spooky Gotham map. Moreover, we can expect new Gotham City Challenges.

Let’s briefly discuss the two new weapons we might get to see:
- Batman Grapnel Gun: Pull yourself towards a target location and then deploy the Bat Cape.
- Explosive Batarang – Batman’s Batarang. Homes in on players and sticks to walls. Explodes if it detects enemies in proximity.
Grapnel Gun will offer a broader verticality across the map whereas Batarang can be used as a sticky grenade and inflict damage to enemies from a distance.
Furthermore, here’s a list of challenges we can expect to arrive with the crossover:
