After the decision of Showcasing the Unreal Engine 5 on PlayStation 5, the bond between Sony and Epics Games becomes much stronger. In one of the early examples, we got to know about the power of PS5’s hardware and the next generation of gaming that it has been promising. Followed by this, Sony has made a huge investment of $250 million in Epic Games, providing them a minority stake. On the other hand, Sony is looking forward to joining hands with the epic in collaborating across all of the assets of Sony in entertainment.

Since its inception, the revolution of the Unreal Engine has been taking place for the gaming experience. With this collaboration, we can hope to see Unreal Engine that would be making its way into Sony’s films and other visual sectors too. Unreal Engine has already provided some of the beautiful live visual effects to the Star Wars series “The Mandalorian”

Joining hands with Epic games will bring a large digital ecosystem across gaming, movies, and music. But for now, we should only focus on Epic games. It is very much clear now that Epic can now, develop Games on the gaming platform of Sony, although they are very much free and in agreement to make games across different other platforms.

Besides this, Sony also looks forward to being apart of the Epic’s existing digital community. It would look forward to making the most use of the platform the game would provide.

The collaboration will lead to some of the amazing products and entertainment for people. Epic has been working jointly with Sony on the next-generation consoles. Across various sectors of digital entertainment, this would be good and advantageous for both of the companies.
