The gaming industry is currently under a revolution or we might just say evolution. With major tech companies like Google, Microsoft, and Sony slowly moving into cloud gaming, cloud gaming is going to be the new trend pretty soon. We have Google, Sony, Microsoft all lined up with their nex-gen consoles, thereby, taking cloud gaming to a whole new level. There is going to be a cloud gaming war pretty soon, with Goggle Stadia all set to take the battleground in November. Even Microsoft has started the beta testing of its cloud gaming service ‘Xcloud’. And now, Sony has also played its card as the company slashes the price of PlayStation Now by 50% amid the cloud gaming war.

Sony announced on the official PlayStation blog that it has brought down the price of its PlayStation Now game streaming service by nearly 50%, thereby, starting from $9.99 onwards now. The change is already in effect and current subscribers will see the new cost reflected in their upcoming bill. Here’s a detailed list of the price changes:

  • $9.99 per month, down from $19.99
  • $24.99 for three months, down from $44.99
  • $59.99 for an annual subscription, down from $99.99

Moreover, Sony further revealed a few new titles that are being added to the PS Now library but will be removed on January 2, 2020. These include:

  •  God of War (2018),
  •  Infamous: Second Son,
  •  Grand Theft Auto V, and
  •  Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
