Sony rolls out firmware update for PS4 to improve performance

The gaming community is waiting for the next-gen console from Sony, there are so many rumors and news about the PS5. What specification it will carry, what games it will support but while the pS5 in under development Sony released a firmware update for its PlayStation 4. The update will bring version 7.01 in the PlayStation 4.

The update is not big but it will improve the system performance. Sony wrote in the Patch Notes:

This system software update improves system performance.

As with all firmware updates, 7.01 is required if you want to go online in any way. The update is just a 447.9MB download, and it should automatically install on your console if you left it in Rest mode.
