With the latest iOS update, WhatsApp has launched the feature of QR codes, and animated stickers. Days after the announcement of this officially, WhatsApp has launched the feature. Some of the long speculated feature have also been launched along with the the QR code for users. Moreover, for the iPhone users they need to head on to the App Store and download the latest version of the app.
In the chatbox, users can get the animated stickers. Different types of packs of stickers has been released such as Rilakkumma, Chummy Chum Chums, Rico’s Sweet Life, Playful Piyomaru, Bright Days, Moody Foodies and others. Followed by downloading of the stickers, you can add it to your list.
Let us find out how users can use animated stickers on WhatsApp
— Open the WhatsApp chat box, and then click upon the sticker icon.
— Then users need to click upon the plus icon which will redirect them to the Stickers store.
— By downloading any of the sticker as per your choice you can add them to your WhatsApp chats.
—Simply by tapping on the stickers users can preview the stickers and then download them.
—After you have downloaded it, it will available for you in the stickers section and you are ready to use them.
On the other hand, once the users download and send stickers to contacts, the sticker will play only once and not repeatedly. In order to play the sticker again, the user will have to scroll up and down the screen. According to the latest reports, the team of WhatsApp is testing for all the possibilities of making the animated stickers play in loop and might launch this feature very soon.
For iOS users, WhatsApp has launched the QR code support. This feature would enable users to share their respective QR code instead of sharing their phone numbers. Instead of typing out the numbers,for adding a new contact the users can simply go for the option of scanning a QR code.
By clicking upon the Settings menu, WhatsApp users can get access to their QR codes. Beside your status and profile on the top, after you have the Settings menu, users will find a QR code icon. Firstly, you need to click on the QR code icon and it redirects all to a new window where one can access your contact code and add you in the list.
