New Delhi: The experts from the union government said that and COVID-19 deaths happening largely in India due to the patients going to the hospital very late, Hindustan Times report.

The experts also said that in India few patients are dying due to the coronavirus disease if you compared it to other countries. In India, the deaths per million population presently stand at 106, and the International figures show that 216 patients are dying per million population in comparison due to coronavirus infection.

Dr. VK Paul, on Tuesday during the media brief said, “The deaths are low in number and our analysis shows that most of the positive cases, who are serious, come to a hospital late; when their condition has fairly deteriorated. It is important to get tested and seek medical aid in time to avoid complications.”

India’s COVID-19 infection direction shows there has been a steady decrease in both the number of new deaths and new cases announced day by day.

Rajesh Bhushan, Union Health Secretary said, “In India, we are seeing 7,300 cases per million population currently and global figures show 9,600 cases getting reported per million population. That goes on to show that the country has managed to control the disease quite well.”

The correlation of the previous seven days’ information on COVID-19 cases for every million demonstrated that normal day by day new cases had declined from around 46,000 between November 4 and 10 to around 24,000 in the week between December 16 and 22.
