The National Investigation Agency who took over Pulwama Terror Attack Probe from Jammu and Kashmir Police last week, on Monday said that the owner of the Vehicle in the deadliest attack has been identified. NIA further said the Owner has joined Jaish e Mohammed (JeM). The Pakistan Based Terror Outfit had hours after Pulwama Attack claimed responsibility of the attack.
The vehicle – Maruti Eco was sold to Mohammed Jaleel Ahmed Haqqani, a resident of Heaven Colony in Anantnag in 2011, and subsequently, it changed hands seven times and finally reached Sajjad Bhat, a resident of Bijbehara in south Kashmir.
The vehicle was purchased on February 4, the spokesman said, adding Sajjad was a student of Siraj-ul-Uloom, Shopian.
According to the Sources, NIA conducted raids at Sajjad’s Residence on Saturday but could not trace him. He has reportedly joined Terror Outfit Jaish e Mohammed (JeM). His pictures also appeared on social media Platform where he is seen holding weapons.
An Official Spokesperson of the Investigation Agency said that the NIA has made a significant development in the Investigation by identifying the vehicle and after piecing together remnants of the car recovered from the scene of the blast.

The NIA investigators, with the support of forensic and automobile experts, have been able to identify the vehicle used in the blast as a Maruti Eeco having chassis number MA3ERLF1SOO183735 and engine number G12BN164140.
The National Investigation Agency had on February 20 took over Pulwama Terror Attack from Jammu and Kashmir Police.
The NIA who reached Jammu and Kashmir the very next day of the attack has already taken samples of the explosives and evidence from the area in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, where a suicide bomber of the Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed detonated his explosives-laden vehicle next to the bus carrying the CRPF personnel.
