Santiniketan inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage List

Santiniketan, the home of late Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore, was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List on September 17, 2023. Santiniketan is the birthplace of Rabindranath Tagore, who founded Visva-Bharati University, a unique institution of higher learning that emphasizes creativity and multiculturalism.
