With the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) relentlessly working on its campaigning ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the Non-Indian-residents (NRI) have also determined to campaign for the saffron party leading to a big win of PM Narendra Modi. According to Jay Shah, BJP President Amit Shah’s son, about 1,700 NRIs have deiced to campaign for PM Narendra Modi in this election.
NRIs including engineers, IT employees, businessmen, have deiced to come to India in the middle of their working session to garner their support to the Prime Minister. About 250 NRIs are from Gujarat alone, the bastion of BJP PM Modi. Shah, while talking to ANI mentioned, the NRI’s will be campaigning from door to door to bring PM Modi in power again in 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
The BJP supporter Jay Shah confessed the ease that consulate has provided to the people living in foreign countries. He applauded the consulate for its extra efforts in providing the emergency visas to people moving out of the country. In his response to ANI, he said, “The consulate has been very responsive throughout the PM Modi rule. I know many cases where the emergency visas were given to the people who needed them within a day.”
In his response to the development seen in the five years of the saffron party government, Jay Shah said, “startups have seen a new boon in India after PM Modi government. In 2011, people had no idea what startups used to be.”
Jay Shah said that these NRIs have been campaigning in Australia as well. They conducted a bike rally in places like Sydney Opera House and Melbourne Cricket Stadium with banners of ‘Namo again’ and ‘Mai Bhi Chowkidar’.
While talking to ANI, NRI Amar Mehta said that he supports Modi because of the initiatives taken by the Modi government to empower women by proving them gas cylinders, a decision like triple talaq, Beti Padho Beti Bachao, have favored women. He said that he is proud in a foreign country to be called a citizen of the country where PM Modi is ruling.
Other NRIs had various appreciations for Modi claiming that Modi has brought a new hope in every individual in a place that was dominated by helplessness. He has sought new ways of business and now people are investing in Indian Business under his leadership.
Apart from the NRIs, The business of Jay Shah has increased exponentially after PM Modi came to power. The total turnout of the company owned by 16,000 times in the next year of election of Narendra Modi.
The elections for the first phase of the Lok Sabha polls have already begun on April 11. The polls will continue till May 19. The results are to be announced on May 23.
