Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) working president JP Nadda on Saturday slammed the Delhi ruling party saying that AAP has become a laughing stock”. Speaking in BJP’s Delhi State Executive meeting, Nadda asserted confidence in forming the next government in the national capital.

In his 30-minutes long speech, he urged workers to ensure party return to the power in Delhi. He said workers should work for the party in Delhi. Talking about 2015 Assembly Elections where Delhi voted for AAP in 67 seats out of 70 seats, Nadda claimed that people have realized what the leaders have actually done in their tenure.

He added, ‘I am fully confident that Delhi will this time elect BJP and we will storm back to power in the national capital’. Slamming Arvind Kejriwal and AAP, Nadda the government has done nothing in the national capital and people in the national capital is not happy with Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi Government.

He also congratulated all Delhi workers for the resounding mandate that the party has got in the last month concluded parliamentary elections. Lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he listed out the welfare initiated by PM Modi-led Central Government.

Raising the issue of the acute water crisis in the national capital, Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari slammed AAP government and claimed that it has done nothing to address the issue.

The two-day executive committee meeting of the Delhi BJP unit began on Friday. The saffron party with the party is looking to gear up its cadre for the assembly elections due early next year. The meeting is called to discuss the strategy for upcoming Delhi Assembly Polls slated for next year.

In the recently held national polls, BJP swept all 7 Parliamentary Seats of the national capital pushing the ruling AAP to the third spot. Several Leaders from the saffron party including Shyam Jaju, VK Malhotra, Meenakshi Lekhi, Parvesh Verma, Hans Raj Hans and Kuljeet Chahal were present in the meeting.
