Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh Government is about to make education free up to intermediate level. The government will make an announcement for the same soon, said a minister of the state cabinet.
Om Prakash Rajbhar, the minister for Divyang and OBC welfare, said, “Yogi Government will make education up to the intermediate level free and an announcement in this regard will be made soon.”
Rajbhar lashed out at parents who do not send their children to schools. He further stated, “We will make the parents understand that children need to go to school in the next four months or consider taking action against them.”
Rajbhar stated that he has been carrying out work in this direction for the past two months. Last two months have gone in telling parents the importance of education in development or employment, he said. Coming from the Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party (SBSP) he will contest the 2019 elections along with the BJP.
When questioned about the backwardness of Muslim community he blamed Muslim leaders responsible. In addition, he asserted that there is no discrimination against them (Muslims) under the Yogi government.
