Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy urged the voters to give their votes in favor of the CongressJD(S) alliance and put an end to the ruling party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. HD Kumaraswamy said that the Congress-JD(S) alliance is expected to win 10-12 seats out of the total 14 Lok Sabha seats in the Karnataka.

Defending the Congress party, Karnataka chief minister said that dynastic politics are not an issue for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He claimed that Congress is responsible for making state in the country and its development throughout these years. Taking a hit at BJP, HD Kumaraswamy said that he doesn’t care about the criticism from BJP.

DMK chief, MK Stalin alleged that the Election Commission is in connivance with the NDA government and Narendra Modi. MK Stalin said that the Election Commission would be reformed back to the transparency, once the opposition is voted to power.

Karnataka chief minister urged the importance of the vote in the country that encourages the development of the farming community. He said that the voters should go to the polling stations and cast their vote. He requested the voters to take a better decision that will benefit the future of the country.

HD Kumaraswamy said that the elections this year have been revolving around the seized cash and assets. However, he still has faith in the people of Tamil Nadu that they will choose their representative carefully. He also alleged that the Election Commission is working on the orders of the ruling party.

The second phase of elections has started today on April 18 with 38 Lok Sabha seats in Tamil Nadu. The results will be announced on May 23.
