The Campaigning for upcoming Madhya Pradesh elections will come to a halt on November 26, today, and the state is all set to go for polling on November 28. The ruling Bhartiya Janta party has opened boxes to control the damage done by the ‘rebels’ ahead of the polls by joining other outfits. The Party has roped over 100 top leaders to intensify the poll campaign and control the damage that the rebel has caused.

Taking a serious note of the feedback on the loss of seats in some regions of Chambal and Vindhya, the party leadership has decided to conciliate the rebels not to seek votes, as it would affect the party’s vote share. The senior leadership who has gathered there in the state office on Saturday and Sunday for strategizing the plans for the final phase decided to take immediate steps to avoid the problem.

A state BJP functionary told Media that ‘A closed-door meeting held by the National Vice President Ramlal and attended by In-Charge Vinay Saharabudhhe, Rajya Sabha Member Dharmendra Pradhan and state organizing general secretary Suhas Bhagat, discussed the party approach for upcoming days and to approach the rebels- who has now in the electoral fray- to conciliate not to seek votes and support official candidates’

Last attempts in this will be taken on Monday.

Apart from this, the state media in-charge Sambit Patra in a meeting of Spokespersons held on Sunday asked the spokespersons to intensify their attacks on the rival parties.

‘Rebels’ in these polls have become a hard nut to crack for both the major parties- BJP and Congress. There is a long list of Leaders who have joined other outfits when party denied a ticket to them.

The results will be announced on December 11, along with other state assembly elections.
