The Former deputy chief minister and RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav has invited a new controversy to his stage. He slammed chief minister Nitish Kumar for ‘raping the mandate’ given by the people of the state. With no doubt, his rape statement is bound to call for severe backlash sometime soon.

Tejaswi was in Daniyawan on the occasion of the unveiling of the statue of late Shri Satya Narayan Singh Bhagat, a well known social activist. Tejaswi took to his advantage the stage and lashed out at Nitish Kumar for ending the alliance with RJD and Congress to go with the BJP.

The RJD leader said, ‘What Nitish Kumar has done is he has raped the mandate of the voters that was given to Mahagathbandhan during 2015 assembly elections.’

He blamed Nitish Kumar for his lust for power. In addition, he said that this is why he walked out and allied with BJP. Tejaswi didn’t stop and lashed out yet again on the state government over worsened law and order situation.

A group of criminals had recently attacked RJD MLA Upendra Paswan in Begusarai. Luckily he escaped. Taking up the case Tejaswi said that there was no fear of the law.

Quoting the statement made by the former deputy chief minister, ‘Incidents of murder and rape are increasing and it is evident that there is no fear of law in criminals because of which crime is happening. The law and order condition under Nitish is worsening.’

Tejaswi using unparliamentary language isn’t a first to happen. He has stuck to using it incessantly with the latest to cite- raping the mandate for Nitish.

The rape and murder of a six-year-old girl happened a couple of days ago.  Tejaswi added that after raping the mandate the Bihar CM remained only to save his chair.
