After the Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and his deputy Sachin Pilot met the Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday over the issue of portfolio allocation in the Rajasthan cabinet, Governor Kalyan Singh allocated portfolios to the council of ministers late on Wednesday night.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot kept 9 departments, which include the crucial Finance and Home. Excise, Planning, Department of Personnel, Department of General Administration, Information Technology department are also allocated to him.

Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot was given the portfolios of Public works, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Science and Technology and Statistics.

Also, 23 other ministers [13 cabinet and 10 ministers of state] were also allocated portfolios according to the orders issued by the Cabinet Secretariat.

The list of 13 Cabinet Ministers along with their Portfolios is–

  • BD Kalla: Energy, Public Health Engineering, Groundwater, Art, Culture and Archeology
  • Shanti Dhariwal: Urban Development and Housing, Law and Parliamentary affairs
  • Parsadi Lal: Industry
  • Master Bhanwar Lal Meghwal: Social justice and Empowerment
  • Lal Chand Kataria: Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries
  • Raghu Sharma: Medical and Health, Information and Public Relations
  • Pramod Bhaya: Mines
  • Vishvendra Singh: Tourism
  • Harish Chaudhary: Revenue
  • Ramesh Chand Meena: Food and Civil Supply
  • Anjana Udailal: Cooperative, Indira Gandhi Canal Project
  • Pratap Singh: Transport and Soldier Welfare
  • Shale Mohammad:  Minority affairs

  • Bhanwar Singh Bhati: Higher education (independent charge), Revenue
  • Sukhram Bishnoi: Forest (independent charge), Environment (independent charge), Food, Civil supply, and Consumer Affairs.
  • Ashok Chandna: Youth Affairs and Sports (independent charge), Skill Development (independent charge), Transport and Soldier Welfare
  • Tikaram Jully: Labour (independent charge), Industries and Boilers inspection (independent charge), Cooperatives and Indira Gandhi Canal Project.
  • Bhajan Lal Jatav: Civil Defence (independent charge), Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries
  • Rajendra Singh Yadav: State Motor Garage (independent charge), Language, Social Justice and Empowerment, Calamity Management and Relief.
  • Subhash Garg (RLD): Technical Education (independent charge), Sanskrit education (independent charge), Medical and Health, Information and Public Relations.
