The Apex court of India, Supreme Court today ordered the Fadnavis-Pawar Government to go for floor test on Wednesday before 5 pm. The floor test will prove whether the Fadnavis- Pawar government has the majority or not, if not, then the opposition will be given the chance to form an alliance government.

The Supreme court also ordered the floor test to be conducted within 24 hours with open ballets and the proceedings to be telecasted online, which will be conducted by the protem speaker in the presence of Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari.

The Supreme Court order was welcomed by the Political parties. Congress Interim President Sonia Gandhi expressed confidence that Maha Vikas Aghadi would emerge victorious with the support of their MLAs.
