The election for the second phase of the Lok Sabha polls shall be held tomorrow, April 18. In the second phase of the Lok Sabha polls, 13 States and Union Territories (UT) shall go to polls. The second phase will witness 97 candidates in the fray. The results for the Lok Sabha elections will be announced on May 23.

The election for the first phase of the Lok Sabha polls ended on April 11.

Assam will have its polls in five constituencies. Karimganj, Silchar, Autonomous district Mangaldoi, Nawgong. The total candidates according to the 2014 estimates for the following constituencies are 59,67,619.

Bihar will have its polls in five constituencies of Kishanganj, Katohar, Purnia, Bhagalpur, Banka. The total candidates according to the 2014 estimates for the following constituencies are 77,03,230.

Chhattisgarh will go to polls on its three seats in Rajnandgaon, Mahasamund, Kanker. The total candidates according to the 2014 estimates for the following constituencies are 45,55,925.

Jammu and Kashmir will go to polls on its two seats that are Srinagar and Udhampur. The total candidates according to the 2014 estimates for the following constituencies are 28,47,458.

Karnataka will go to polls on its 14 seats Udupi Chikmagalur, Hassan, Dakshina Kannada, Chitradurga, Tumkur, Mandya, Mysore, Chamrajanagar, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore North, Bangalore Central, Bangalore South, Chikkaballapur, Kolar. The total candidates according to the 2014 estimates for the following constituencies are 2,44,48,744.

Maharashtra will go to polls on its 10 Lok Sabha constituencies in Buldhana, Akola, Amravati, Hingoli, Nanded, Parbhani, Beed, Osmanabad, Latur, Solapur. The total candidates according to the 2014 estimates for the following constituencies are 1,68,35,910.

Manipur will contest on one seat in Inner Manipur. The total candidates according to the 2014 estimates for the constituency is 8.55,359.

Odisha will go to polls in the second phase on five seats in Bargarh, Sundargarh, Bolangir, Kandhamal, Aska. The total candidates according to the 2014 estimates are 76,08,806.

Puducherry will contest the elections on one seat Puducherry. The total candidates according to the 2014 estimates are 9,59,566

Tamil Nadu will contest in the second phase on 38 seats Chidambaram, Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam, Thanjavur, Sivaganga, Madurai, Theni, Virudhunagar, Ramanathapuram, Thoothukoodi, Tenkasi, Tirunelveli, Kanniyakumari, Tirvallur, Chennai North, Chennai South, Chennai Central, Sriperumbudur, Kancheepuram, Arakkonam, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Tiruvannamalai, Arani, Viluppuram, Kallakurichi, Salem, Namakkal, Erode, Tiruppur, Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Pollachi, Dindigul, Karur, Tiruchirapalli, Perambalur, Cuddalore. The total number of candidates for the following constituencies are 5,51,14,505.

Tripura will contest elections on Tripura East seat. The total candidates according to the 2014 estimates are 11,40,269.

Uttar Pradesh will contest elections on 8 seats in Nagina, Amroha, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Hathras, Mathura, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri. The total candidates according to the 2014 estimates are 1,34,03,734.

West Bengal will contest elections on its three seats Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling, Raiganj. The total candidates according to the 2014 estimates are 43,56,121.
