Social networking site Facebook is famous among people for various reasons. One of them is the Oculus connect conference. Since the world is going through a bad phase as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and this also raised questions regarding the Oculus connect conference. But now as because things are slowly getting back to normal, there is some good news for those who were waiting for this event.
Facebook recently announced that the Oculus connect conference will take place in September 16 this year. However, things will be a bit different this time. The name of the event will be changed to Facebook Connect and apart from discussing about the work being done by Oculus, it will also cover the activities done by Facebook in virtual as well as real world. Apart from this, Facebook Reality Labs will provide detailed information about the future tech of Facebook to the audience.
According to reports, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Oculus chief scientist Michael Abrash might be a part of this event. The event might disappoint some people as Facebook will include all of its VR and AR activities in one event and especially because this is happening after a decision was taken that Oculus must use Facebook logins when they register new headsets. Facebook has however clarified by saying that they are doing all this for charity.
