Australia Women wins all the matches in the ODI series against India Women.

Australia Women are on a tour of India, which consists of one test match and three ODI and T-20I matches.

For the first time, Indian women beat Australian women in the test match, which was played from December 21st–24th.

First ODI

The first ODI between Australia and India Women was played on December 28th at Wankhede.

India women won the toss and elected to bat first.

Yastika Bhatia and Shafali Verma opened the innings for India, as they weren’t able to give a great start.

With the knock of Yastika of 49 runs and Jemimah Rodrigues of 82 runs, India reached a total of 282/8.

Alyssa Healy and Phoebe Litchfield opened the innings for Australia as Alyssa got out in the first over itself.

The knocks by Phoebe of 78 runs, Ellyse of 75 runs, and Tahlia of 68 runs made the Australian women win the match.

Second ODI

The second match was also played at Wankhede, as Australian women won the toss and elected to bat first.

Phoebe and Alyssa opened the Innings for Australian women.

The knock of 63 runs by Phoebe and the knock by Ellyse of 50 runs brought them into a good situation.

With the short knocks by other batsmen, Australia Women made a total of 258/8.

Deepti Sharma took a haul of five wickets.

Yastika and Smriti opened the innings for Indian women.

The outstanding knock by Richa of 96 runs and the knock by Jemimah of 44 runs brought India close to victory.

In the end, India Women weren’t able to chase the runs as they lost the match by three runs.

Third ODI

The last ODI was also played in Wankhede, as Australian women again won the toss and elected to bat first.

Phoebe and Alyssa gave them an outstanding start, scoring 119 and 82 runs, respectively.

Their knocks and the short knocks by other batsmen took them to a total of 338/7.

In return, India Women weren’t able to chase down the total as they lost all their wickets for a total of 148 runs.

With this win, Australian women whitewashed Indian women in the ODI series.
