India beat Nepal in their last group match as they qualify for the next stage.

The Asia Cup is going on as India, Pakistan, and Nepal were placed in Group A.

Pakistan beat Nepal, and the match between India and Pakistan got tied as they qualified for the top four stages.

Yesterday, India faced Nepal in their last group-stage match, and they won the match by ten wickets.

With this win, they qualified for the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup.

Apart from qualification, there is also one more happy news for everyone: India and Pakistan will again face each other on September 10.

Match Details

The last match of Group A was played on September 4th at the Pallekele Stadium.

India, winning the toss, elected to bat first.

Nepal Innings

Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh opened the inning for Nepal.

They both started great, as they were forming a great partnership.

It was great to see them perform, as they were setting a record for themselves.

As the match went on, Shardul broke their partnership as he took the wicket of Kushal.

Aasif soon completed his half-century as wickets were falling from one end.

In between, rain also interrupted the game, but the match resumed.

The ending knock by Sompal Kami of 48 runs took them to a total of 230 runs.

At 230 runs, they lost all their wickets as Mohammad Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets each.

India Innings

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill opened the innings for India.

They both weren’t in form as long as it was time for them to settle down and score some runs.

As they started to play after some overs, rain stopped the game.

Finally, the game resumed, but the overs were reduced to 23.

According to the DLS method, India needed 145 runs from 23 overs.

Rohit and Shubman were looking good, as they were also playing great shots.

They both soon completed their half-centuries and kept the momentum going.

They single-handedly made India win the match in just 20 overs.

With this win, India also qualified for the next stage, which is the Super Four.
